The Department of General Education, Kerala has published Kerala Education Calendar 2022-23. The Calendar has been issued under Rule 5 in Chapter VII of the Kerala Education Rules 1959. The Kerala Education Calendar 2022-23 charts all academic and extra-curricular activities of schools following the Kerala Syllabus for this year.
Kerala Education Calendar 2022-23 is applicable to all Primary, Secondary, Higher Secondary, and Vocational Higher Secondary Schools under the Kerala Department of General Education.
August 20, September 24, October 29, and December 3 will be working days for all sections including the Higher Secondary. In case of local holidays, the stipulated number has to be maintained by compensating for the working days lost.
According to Kerala Education Calendar 2022-23, schools will close for Onam Holidays on 02 September 2022 and reopen on 12 September 2022. Schools close for Christmas Holidays on 23 December 2022 and reopen on 03 January 2023. Schools will close for the mid-summer vacation on 31 March 2023.
